What is the Leonard Cheshire Christmas Wishes Raffle?

Our Christmas Raffle is a fun way to support Leonard Cheshire while being up for the chance to win up to 13 prizes!

How much are tickets? How many can I buy?

Tickets are £1 and every supporter can purchase up to 60 tickets.

What are the key dates of the Raffle?

You can buy tickets until Friday 11 December 2020 and the draw will take place a week later, on Friday 18 December 2020 – just in time for Christmas!

Can you guarantee the Raffle is fair?

Yes, every £1 entry has an equal chance of winning, and all winning numbers are drawn at random.

How old must I be to enter?

You must be aged 16 or over.

What are the prizes?

There are three cash prizes of £2,000, £500 and £250 and ten runner up prizes of £25 M&S vouchers.

Are my tickets eligible for Gift Aid?

Unfortunately, we cannot claim Gift Aid on funds raised through the purchase of raffle tickets. However, if you choose to make a donation alongside your ticket purchase then we would be able to claim Gift Aid on that.

Why am I sent to another page when making payment?

When taking payments, Leonard Cheshire use a secure payment processing system provided by our External Lottery Manager, Sterling Management Centre Limited.This ensures your details are taken in a safe and secure manner when you play the raffle online. Privacy is very important to Leonard Cheshire, so we only use partners that we trust to keep your data safe.

How will I know if I win?

Winners will be notified by post, email or telephone no later than two weeks after the draw date. A list of winners will also be published on the Charity Raffle website within two weeks of the draw date. Please keep the ticket number as record of proof of purchase.

What if a prize is not claimed?

If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made by Leonard Cheshire to contact the winner, then Leonard Cheshire will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it thinks fit. The winner has one month after notification to claim the prize.
